Ok, so I know excuses, excuses, but as everyone knows, life at times gets way to busy and things move to the bottom of the priority list. However, my New Years Resolution (before it even happens) is to give this blogging thing a real try. So let's see how it goes. Talan is trying to help me type.
So here's to my resolution and tomorrow! :)

Spending the day with Talan....
Or should I say, spending three days with Talan sick! Saturday morning, Talan threw up his first bottle of the day and contiued throughout the day....UGH!! I did laundry all day trying to keep the bedding and clothes clean.
We were getting ready to goto Jace's Baptism and Talan got sick AGAIN! So.....him and I stayed home. Needless to say, the washer and dryer were on overtime for the weekend! He didn't do much except lay in my arms, even though he was sick, it was still nice to cuddle with him. My mom came over and I got him some Pedilyte and that seemed to really help him (thanks Kari!) After that he kept his cereal down and we seemed like we were on the road to recovery. He was up a few times during the night. I decided to take him to the doctors in the morning. I wanted him to be checked before my mom, Taylor and I head to Chicago on Thursday for the weekend.
Took him to the doctor's and he has pharynigitis (totally spelled wrong). Ahhh...yes he hates his medicine! Just like his big sister did when she was a baby!
Well once we got home today, he cuddled some more and got his appetite back! He ate like I hadn't feed him in 6 months!
Once he got the medicine and food in him, he was in a pretty good mood.
We borrowed an exersaucer from Kim and Josh, and he loves it! I put him in there and turned on Blues Clues for a while this afternoon! I got some work done while he watched Blue!
Finally, got him to bed! Hopefully, he sleeps all night. I know mom needs to! :)
Oh yea, for your inquiring minds....he now weighs 18 lbs, 2 ozs.

Let's see how long this will last. I'm trying to take a lot of pictures of both kids. Not that I'm very good about putting them in photo albums, just ask Hutch! He loves the fact that I buy the albums but don't put the pictures in them. :)
I decided that I have quite a few friends and family that I don't get a chance to update enough about the kids. It seems to work well for Kari, so I'm going to give this a try. (Now if I can just figure out how to set this thing up :) )
